Employee Appeals Board
To adjudicate appeals from District government employees. Issue subpoenas, rules, and regulations; appoint and remove employees; publish final decisions; and issue annual report. Members must file personal financial disclosure statements. Five members, appointed by the Mayor with advice and consent of the Council, who do not hold any other position in the DC government and have a demonstrated knowledge concerning personnel management and labor relations and have a reputation for impartiality and integrity in the discharge of responsibilities. The Mayor appoints a member as chairperson.
